For social justice to be achieved, a conscious political action by itself is not enough. Civil society must safeguard the dignity of its most disadvantaged members. In the present century, the word “beneficencia” cannot refer merely to charity; justice is needed to obtain a degree of welfare aligned with the ideals of democracy. In the Philippines’ struggle to move ahead in its task to protect its citizens, a number of individuals may be inspired to work towards the realization of these common goals. Sociedad Española de Beneficencia invites you to participate in a movement for social justice.

Now that you know what we do and how we do it, we would like to explain you the different ways of how you could be helping our elderly! (1)

Your help in any of the above options will benefit us mutually, as the only way to strengthen the presence of Sociedad Española de Beneficencia as one of the oldest NGOs in the Philippines is through the concerted effort with its partners: this has been our endeavor since 1948.
